Ramadan has departed, but has the light left as well?

Oh heart, why do you grieve? Do you not know that Ramadan is not a month that comes and goes, but a light that remains within the one who carries it?

We awaited it with longing, with outstretched hands, like a thirsty traveler searching for a drop of water in the desert. In its nights, the faithful whispered prayers, and the earth absorbed their tears. The mosques were living dew extinguishing the fire of souls seeking mercy.

Now, as mornings awaken again without it, the heart asks: “Where has that peace disappeared?”

But you who believe, listen: Ramadan does not leave; it transforms into a shadow that follows you. In every kind word you speak, in every hand you extend, in every sin you avoid.

Labunista, do not mourn it, but keep it inside you. Let your streets continue to smell of goodness. Let your people remain with hearts softened by prayer.

For time is like the wind – it passes, but the scent it leaves behind does not vanish.

Ramadan has gone. But will you let it go from your being?
