The first residents of the village of Labunishta who had the opportunity to perform the sacred Muslim ritual of Hajj in the distant year 1900 were Qazim Qazimoski, Adil Bekiroski, and Raim Alilov. Their journey to the holy sites of Mecca and Medina was a long and challenging path that lasted an entire year.

This journey was filled with spiritual significance and dedication, but also with numerous trials. They traveled to Saudi Arabia by horse and moved around there by camels. After successfully performing the Hajj ritual, they set off back to their homeland, carrying with them spiritual blessings and deep impressions from the holy places.

However, their journey ended tragically. While staying at an inn in Bitola, they died from carbon monoxide poisoning. The cause of this tragedy was the large amount of coal burning in the brazier in the room where they stayed overnight. This tragic event left deep sorrow and grief among their families and the community in Labunishta. Their bodies were buried in Bitola.

Their dedication and desire to fulfill one of the fundamental pillars of the Islamic faith remain remembered as examples of faith, perseverance, and sacrifice.

Our version is based on an excerpt from that document, although there is another version mentioning that Adil Bekiroski went first and returned healthy and alive, while the following year Qazim Qazimoski and Raim Adilov went, and their journey ended tragically. There are two graves in Bitola.
