Local Community

The local community appeals to all carriers and citizens to show responsibility and care for the common environment.

Today, a joint meeting was held between representatives of the local communities of the villages Labunishta, Borovec, Podgorci, and Oktisi, where serious problems regarding electricity affecting these settlements were discussed.

The coordinating body composed of members Safet Demiralieski, advisor to the mayor of Struga municipality, Adem Nuroski, coordinator in Struga municipality, and Mahir Asani, secretary, introduced the 12 members of the presidency of the Labunishta local community and put them up for voting where the majority were elected. The citizen gathering was attended by the Struga Municipality representative from the local communities sector, Urim Kaba.
