Every day we talk about the beautiful – Labunista as a place of culture, tradition, hospitality. But somehow, in the mirror of reality, cracks appear more and more often. Not from time, but from stones. Stones thrown by the hands of those who should build the future – the youth.

A newly installed spherical mirror, placed for the safety of all, did not last long. It quickly became a target. Not due to weather, but due to bad manners.

When a child throws a stone, it’s not only the mirror that should break – silence must break. The silence of the parent who stays quiet, the teacher who is left alone, the neighbor who does not want “to get involved.” Meanwhile, stones, streets, graffiti, and pieces of angry childhood mix together.

Every crack in that mirror is not accidental – it is a symbol. A symbol of how far we are from the values we preach. And yes, perhaps that mirror does not speak, but we must. To speak with children, with parents, with ourselves. So, before the next stone flies, ask yourself:

“What do I see in that mirror?”
If you see the future – stop.
If you see anger – talk.
If you see emptiness – start building.

Because the mirror is more than a piece of metal and glass. It is a reflection of us. Labunista deserves to see a more beautiful picture.

"Breaking signal mirrors, destroying parks, senseless graffiti on walls, these are not just “children’s pranks.” It is a conscious act of disrespect towards others’ work, society, and the future. Someone invested money, time, effort – for the safety of all. And someone else, without a shred of respect, destroys all that with a single stone.

The problem is not only with the children. The problem is the absence of permitted boundaries for children, in upbringing, for example. When adults stay silent, when parents forget their role, when schools lack support, then a restless generation grows that does not know what order is, and even less what shame is."

Rahim Islamoski said the following about a similar incident a few years ago:

"On the very same day this spherical mirror was installed, it fell into an unfortunate siege by our young heroes. Heroes! As long as the letter “a” remains in “Heroes,” the situation is not alarming, but if it disappears, then from “Heroes” it turns into... 😃

It’s not that we didn’t know what awaited these mirrors, nor that we didn’t know how many stones they would ‘eat’ for dinner, but we knew they had no mouth to tell. 😃 Dear heroes, when you throw stones, you’re not hitting the mirror, you’re hitting yourselves, because that mirror is yours.

Dear heroes, when you break the mirror, you are actually breaking your own image. Before you throw the stone, look at your face in the mirror and ask yourself, does that face in the mirror deserve such a stone? If your answer is “YES,” then throw it, and don’t think it’s someone else’s problem."
