Few know that Labuništa, besides its rich history, tradition, and culture, has also produced notable names in Macedonian literature.

Throughout its history, Labuništa has given birth to authors who, through their works, have immortalized the life, tradition, and spirit of their native place.

Fadil Mustafoski – Mustoski (1945) is the author of two significant monographs, "Labuništa" (2005) and "Labuništa Chronicle" (2010). Through these works, he documents the history, cultural heritage, notable personalities, and rich traditions of Labuništa, leaving invaluable testimony for future generations.

Murat Labuništi, besides being a prominent revolutionary, also left behind poetic works, ranking among the important literary figures associated with Labuništa.

Andjelko Krstić (1871–1952), born in Labuništa, depicts, in his stories and the novel "Trajan," the lives of emigrants, shepherds, laborers, and people of Drimkol. As a former emigrant himself, he conveys from personal experience the bitterness of emigrant life and love for the homeland.

Milisav S. Antonijević – Drimkolski (1910–2001), a teacher and educational figure, writes in his works "Fires of Drimkol," "Border of Death," and "Anger" about the hardships of emigrants, village struggles, suffering, and nostalgia for his native Labuništa.

Zoran Kovačeski (1943–2008), although born in Jagodina, connects his roots to Labuništa. In his novels "Family Fresco" and "Broom Flyers," part of the action is set in Labuništa, and the characters, though living in large cities, remain deeply tied to their native village.

Their shared inspiration was Labuništa – life among the lanes of Labuništa, hardworking people, emigrant life, family values, customs, and everyday life. Thanks to their works, the spirit of Labuništa remains preserved and will continue to live on through generations.
