Today marked the conclusion of the two-day Kermes organized by the “Kevser” congregation in Monfalcone, Italy. This year's event was held in an exceptionally pleasant and spiritual atmosphere, attended by over 1000 guests and visitors across both days.

The day's program began with a lecture for women given by Ezana Bećiroska, followed by the noon prayer and a communal lunch where 1000 portions of food were prepared for all attendees. Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy traditional dishes lovingly prepared by the hardworking hands of the community’s mothers and sisters.

After the afternoon (ikindija) prayer, Hafiz Alil Alili performed beautiful recitations from the Quran, followed by an inspiring lecture from Dr. Šefik Kurdić. The program concluded with a performance of ilahija (religious hymns) and a closing speech by Hafiz Alil Alili, whose words brought a special spiritual energy amongst those present.

The organizers announced that all collected financial proceeds from the Kermes will be donated towards the expansion of the Upper Mosque in Labuništa, further solidifying the strong connection and solidarity between the Labuništa Diaspora and their homeland.

The event once again confirmed the unity, humanity, and spirituality of the Monfalcone community, which continually contributes through its activities to preserving faith, culture, and tradition.
