Tonight, in the Italian city of Monfalcone, the traditional Kermes began – an event that once again revived the love, community, and unity of Labunishtani across Europe. More than a thousand of our fellow townspeople, arriving from Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, and Switzerland, filled the space with warmth, smiles, and a sense of belonging that only Labunishta can create.

A spiritual message was shared by the imam of Monfalcone – Nedjat ef. Rustemoski, as well as respected imams Shaban ef. Kazimoski, Senat ef. Nuroski, Avnija ef. Nureski, and Ajdogan ef. Ibraimi, who with their wisdom, warm words, and recitation of the Quran in their melodious voices united all present in the spirit of gratitude and brotherly love.

The event concluded with a lecture by Dr. Sherik Kurdić from Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose words touched the soul of every attendee, reminding that faith and humanity are the greatest bridges between people.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and the aroma of tradition – the renowned “Beans from the Pot,” lovingly prepared by the respected chef Muso Juskoski – “Lord,” and his sons, who traveled specially from Labunishta to give this great event a special mark.

This Kermes was not only a celebration of friendship but also of good deeds. Funds raised from the event will be donated for the construction of the new mosque in Labunishta, once again showing that when Labunishta is united, miracles can be made – wherever they are, in every corner of the world.

Monfalcone shone tonight in the colors of brotherhood, respect, and love.

And Labunishta once again showed its greatness – a place with soul, people with heart, and faith that unites!
