Today, November 17, marks exactly 29 years since the historic day when Labuništa became the seat of its own municipality within the independent Republic of Macedonia. Almost all streets in Labunishta are paved today, yet they still lack that European look. Although the asphalt is new, streets without marked white lines do not give the proper appearance that a well-organized environment should have. When streets lack side and center lines, they look unfinished, as if missing the final step that makes a place modern and organized.
Shuttering of the supports and slab has been fully completed, marking an important step in the realization of this significant project. Preparation is underway for the next phase – reinforcing the supports and the slab itself.
New street lighting installation has begun in Labunista to bring more light and life to the village. Until now, some streets were poorly lit and appeared gloomy at night, which bothered the residents and visitors.
The expansion of the Mehmed Ali Pasha Mosque is progressing without delay and according to the planned schedule. Currently, the formwork for the supports and the ground floor slab is being carried out, marking a significant step in the structural phase of the building.
