We remember the times when the streets of Labunishta were the heart of the village. Although there were fewer people, there was more life. On every corner – a shop, in front of every door – conversation, laughter echoing late into the night. People moved, greeted, stopped "for a word or two", and the streets breathed with togetherness and warmth.

From the Municipality of Struga, it is emphasized that this is just one of the series of projects planned and to be implemented in the upcoming period and that the efforts do not stop here. Many other activities and investments aimed at improving communal infrastructure and creating a cleaner and healthier living environment for all residents are planned.

Mahir Asani is a long-standing member of the educational community in Labunishta, known for his dedicated approach to teaching and students. His appointment is expected to enable the new leadership to enhance the teaching process, introduce new activities and projects, and improve the conditions for students and teaching staff.

As part of extracurricular activities, the school in Podgorci organized a significant educational visit by healthcare professionals, which sparked great interest among students and teaching staff. The event featured Dr. Daut Dervishoski, a family medicine specialist, and Dr. Enisa Dervishoska, a pediatrician, who delivered a presentation tailored to the students' ages and needs.

Some have already arrived, and over the weekend, inshallah, the others are expected to come. The roads once again lead to home, to native Labunishta.

In Labunishta, activities around the construction of the prayer area of the Mehmed Ali Pasha Mosque are rapidly progressing. In less than three months since the project's start, significant results are already noticeable, and work continues at an intensive pace.

Labunista today gained another significant expert in the field of healthcare. Amer Osmanoski, who was recently announced to defend his specialist thesis at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje, successfully defended his specialization.

The Struga Mufti's Office, led by Mufti H. Adi Murtishi, today awarded a certificate of appreciation to mutawalli Safet Ismailoski for his successfully completed mandate at the Mehmed Ali Pasha Mosque in Labunishta. His dedication, responsibility, and care for the mosque left a significant mark on the community.

The feature presents in detail the authentic adventure offered by this picturesque foothill of Jablanica—a combination of tradition, nature, and unforgettable activities.

Yesterday, restocking of the Crn Drim river – Globočica reservoir, took place with the introduction of 100 kilograms of carp fry. The activity was carried out in the presence of inspectors from the Ministry of Forestry and Water Economy of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as members and supporters of the local fishing association.

The Mufti of Struga, H. Adi ef. Murthishi, today in the official premises of the Muftiate of the Islamic Religious Community in Struga, ceremoniously presented the Decrees for imam service to the two imams of the Lower Mosque in Labunishta – Istref ef. Yuskoski and Anis ef. Izeti.

On December 28, 2025, starting at 7:30 PM, a Quran Evening will be held in Labunista, organized by the Humanitarian Society Diaspora Labunista CH/EU in cooperation with H.D. Mladina – Nova Gorica.

The primary school "Murat Labunishti" – Labunishta today celebrated the Holiday of the Albanian Alphabet and Albanian Flag Day with a festive cultural and artistic program held in the school's sports hall, starting at 10:00 AM.

In an effort to create a more pleasant, safer, and inspiring environment for our students, we decided to assign artificial intelligence the important task of completely redesigning the schoolyard. This modern approach allowed us to obtain fresh, creative, and practical ideas on how to transform the yard into a true green garden.

The event will be enriched with numerous activities prepared by students and teachers, aiming to commemorate significant dates in Albanian history and culture.

Rejyan Saloska, under the mentorship of teacher Asija Nuredini, managed to win first place at the recitation competition held in Struga, declaring herself the best reciter.
