Today, in the office of the mayor of Struga Municipality, Mr. Mendi Qura, a working meeting was held with members of the Local Community of Labunishta, led by the president Mr. Tasim Tafiloski. The meeting was also attended by the director of the Public Utility Company “Hygiene”, Mr. Irfan Ramizi, coordinator Mr. Adem Nuroski, as well as the mayor's advisor from Labunishta, Mr. Safet Demiraleski.

The meeting presented the problems that the residents of Labunishta face daily, with emphasis placed on three priority points:

• Construction of a retaining wall on the local road Krasta near the Zendelovci area.

• Filling and concreting/asphalting of the local road Pilçarovci – Podgorci, near the Umishte area, with a length of 600 meters.

• Problems with the electricity supply in Labunishta.

The Municipality of Struga, led by Mayor Qura, gave a positive response to all three points.

It was emphasized that within a short period, the implementation of the two infrastructure projects will begin, and regarding the electricity supply problem, a joint meeting with EVN and representatives of the local communities from the affected neighborhoods was announced. At that meeting, urgent and permanent solutions to the problem will be sought.

Additionally, the Municipality of Struga informed the Local Community that the project to improve water supply in Labunishta, as well as the complete technical documentation for the construction of a treatment plant, are in the final phase.

It is expected that these projects will soon be realized, thereby resolving some of the biggest problems of the residents of Labunishta.

The meeting was assessed as constructive, with a joint commitment to continuous cooperation and concrete steps to improve living conditions in Labunishta.
