Tonight a fire broke out near the illegal landfill in Labunishta, with two fire trucks from the Territorial Firefighting Unit Struga arriving at the scene.

Due to the nature of the fire and the fact that it was a landfill, extinguishing it with water was not possible, so the most effective method to localize the fire was to cover it with soil.

The company SabnurBau actively participated in the operation, using machinery and soil to help localize the fire and prevent its further spread.

Many thanks to the owner of the company, Mahir Nuroski, as well as to Sanel Saloski – Bubu, for their commitment and selfless assistance in this operation.

Special thanks also go to the large number of young residents of Labunishta, who immediately arrived at the site and selflessly helped keep the fire under control, preventing its spread to the surrounding area.

The joint reaction of SabnurBau and the locals showed that in critical moments, community and rapid response are of great importance for the safety of the entire population.
