This question was part of the Friday sermon by Ef. Enis Maksutoski, in which the importance of preserving family ties, respecting parents, and responsibility for our behavior towards others was discussed.

No one would want to swear at or curse their own parents. However, sometimes, through our actions, people cause others to direct curses and insults towards them. Therefore, we should ask ourselves: does our behavior show respect to parents, or does it expose them to insults?

When we block the road with a car and hinder passage, when we create unnecessary noise with motors, especially while people are resting, when we drive dangerously through a populated area, throw trash in front of someone else's house, or insult someone's parents—we provoke anger that can turn into curses against our loved ones. This does not justify others' insults but reminds us that our deeds have consequences.

Respect for parents is also demonstrated through behavior outside the home. Let us preserve family ties, respect others' peace and rights, and be a reason for our parents to be mentioned with good words.
