Struga Municipality will work on significantly improving the water supply in Labunishta village as part of capital investments for 2025-2026. The project, which is part of broader infrastructural interventions worth over 10 million euros, includes:

Water extraction from multiple sources to increase capacity and stability of water supply. Construction of water pipes that will connect the new water supply system with the reservoir in the village.

Long-term solution to the water problem

Residents of Labunishta have faced challenges with water supply for years, especially in summer months when demand increases. With the implementation of this project, the village will receive more stable and reliable water supply, contributing to improved quality of life.

Funding and implementation

The project is partially funded by funds secured by Struga Municipality through the Government of North Macedonia’s capital investment call, as well as from the municipal budget. Construction activities are expected to begin in 2025 and be completed as soon as possible.

• Benefits for Labunishta residents
