During the Ottoman Empire era, children who couldn't wait for the joy of Bayram and even on the day of Arafat would dress in new clothes; people called them "flowers of Arafat" — Arife Çiçekleri. 🌙✨

Even today, in Labunista, this tradition remains deeply rooted in people's hearts. Bayram without new "criers" — is not Bayram. 😊

Children look at the bags with clothes days in advance, open them hundreds of times, and on the night before Bayram, they lie next to them as their greatest treasure. Some even sleep with their sneakers next to their bed. ❤️

On Bayram morning, the streets come alive. The little ones run from house to house, but carefully — so the shoes don't get dirty for the "big day." 😄 They compare among themselves: who has sneakers with straps, who has a nicer jacket, who "flies" more while running around the neighborhood. The whole village is full of children's joy and laughter.

And the most beautiful thing is that many expatriates, no matter where they are in the world, specifically return to Labunista for Bayram — just to buy clothes for the children and to feel that old Bayram magic that cannot be bought with money. 🕌🤍
