(Photo): Mehmed Ali Pasha Mosque Receives Approval for Extension

Известувања Лабуништа Новости Thursday 04.09.2025

The Mehmed Ali Pasha Mosque, also known as the Upper Mosque, has officially received final approval for its extension. This opens up the opportunity to expand and improve the existing religious building, aiming to provide better conditions for worshippers.

It is especially important to emphasize that this concerns an extension, not the construction of a new mosque. With the project, the existing building, which has been a significant spiritual center for the residents of Labunista and the surrounding area for decades, will be functionally upgraded and further enhanced.

At the same time, an appeal is made to all compassionate people who have the means and desire to help – anyone willing can make a donation, so that this important extension can be completed and put into operation as soon as possible.
