Technical documentation preparation begins for Labuništa wastewater treatment plant

Struga Municipality has begun comprehensive technical documentation preparation for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in the village of Labuništa – a project representing a long-term and sustainable solution for environmental protection.

The project is designed with the possibility for future expansion and inclusion of additional settlements.

The documentation preparation is carried out as part of a UNDP project, funded by the Government of Sweden, with support from the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.

The project foresees:

  • modern and efficient wastewater treatment
  • connection to the existing sewage network
  • construction of the necessary supporting infrastructure
