Video: Hikers from Struga narrowly escape bear attack at Parumba peak

A group of hikers from Struga miraculously escaped a bear while climbing Parumba peak in the Jablanica mountain. In the video, filmed by another group of hikers below, four people are seen walking on the trail while a large bear is rapidly approaching from the right side.

Fortunately, as the hikers themselves recount, the drone’s approach and their screams frightened the bear, which stopped and then ran back into the forest. This dramatic moment once again reminds us of the importance of caution and proper preparation when moving through mountain areas where wild animals are commonly present.
