An Initiative Board Has Been Elected – Expansion of Mehmed Ali Pasha Mosque Begins

Лабуништа Новости Sunday 10.08.2025

An initiative board has officially been formed to coordinate the implementation of the project for the expansion of the Mehmed Ali Pasha Mosque. During the presentation held, the space and future plans for expansion were showcased, emphasizing that the old part of the mosque will not be demolished but will remain in its original form and will be connected to the new structure. Several worshippers, inspired by the significance of this initiative, voluntarily signed up and were elected as members of the initiative board. With this, the first activities to improve this important religious site begin, aiming to meet the community's needs and preserve its historical significance.
