To facilitate orientation and improve local infrastructure, the installation of new informational signs has begun recently along all main and secondary streets leading to the New Mosque in Podgorci village.

These directional signs are carefully designed – clear, visible, and understandable – so that everyone, whether a resident, worshipper, or visitor, can easily find their way to this important spiritual center. The New Mosque is not only a place of prayer but is increasingly becoming a warm gathering space that unites generations.

Residents of Podgorci, as well as those from nearby Labuništa, welcomed this initiative with approval and joy. Many pointed out that these signs will be especially useful for those visiting the mosque for the first time – whether youths, new residents, or families coming during weekends and holidays.

There is also a noted growing interest and presence in the mosque courtyard, especially after the Ikindija prayer, when it fills with the sounds of children’s laughter, play, and companionship. Many families choose this space for their afternoon walks, spiritual respite, and shared moments, turning the mosque into a true family center of spirituality and warmth.

This small but significant step is yet another incentive for further organization and development of the village, as well as improving the visibility of the religious and cultural values that Podgorci preserves through generations.
