(Photo): Major tragedy averted again – fire localized in Labunista

Лабуништа Новости Tuesday 09.09.2025

Today around 10:30 AM, a fire broke out in a field below the Krasta neighborhood in Labunista. Due to its rapid spread, the fire quickly approached even the closest houses, threatening a larger tragedy.

Thanks to the timely reaction of the village residents, led by Mahir Nuroski and Sanel Saloski – Bubu, who immediately arrived with the fire truck from Labunista, the fire was localized and then completely extinguished. Their great efforts prevented the possibility of material damage and the endangerment of human lives.

We appeal to all residents to clean and mow fields and meadows of tall grass and thorns, and to avoid any kind of fire ignition. Responsible behavior is crucial to prevent future fires and to protect the safety of the population.
