If we think about it a bit, it can be seen that the traffic on the main street could function much more easily with a few simple solutions. The bollards placed to prevent parking on the left and right have good intentions, but perhaps they would be more effective if placed in the middle of the street.

In that way, drivers simply wouldn’t have anywhere to stop when they want to, because stopping would block all traffic from the center to the bus station. When this is known in advance, most would think twice before stopping, and traffic would flow much more smoothly.

Besides the bollards, it would be nice to create miniature boulevards on certain parts of the street, divided by curbs. Such a solution would not only visually beautify the space but also clearly direct vehicle movement. Additionally, flowers and low trees could be planted in these dividing strips, giving the center a more pleasant and greener appearance, as well as a sense of orderliness.

Also, if a few one-way streets are introduced, movement through the village would be much faster and more orderly. There is no constant waiting, no collision of vehicles from different directions, and drivers would more easily know where and how to move.

All in all, with a slightly different organization much can be gained – less stress, faster traffic, and a more orderly center, without major and expensive interventions.
