This question is increasingly heard among the people — and rightly so. According to available data, the construction currently underway in Labunishta truly represents one of the largest and most significant religious buildings in the country.

• Old mosque: 148.8 m²
• New mosque: 412.5 m² ➡️ Total: 561.3 m²

🔹 Ground floor:

• Old mosque: 224.4 m²
• New mosque: 618 m²
• ➡️ Total: 842.4 m²

🔹 Mezzanine:

• Old mosque: 120 m²
• New mosque: 180 m² ➡️ Total: 300 m²

📌 Total area (approximate): 561.3 + 842.4 + 300 = 1703.7 m²

👥 If we take an average of about 2 people per m², this means: ➡️ 1700 m² × 2 = over 3000 worshippers

🕌 This means the mosque will be able to accommodate more than 3000 people at the same time, making it one of the largest — perhaps the largest — in North Macedonia.

But perhaps the most important thing is not how large it is… but that finally, the long-standing problem with overcrowding will be solved, especially during Ramadan and periods when our migrant workers return home.
