Bitcoin Reaches $109,000, Setting a New All-Time High

The price of Bitcoin reached $109,000 today, setting a new all-time high, reports Anadolu.

In the past 24 hours, the largest cryptocurrency traded within a range of $99,400 to $109,110.

Before the US presidential elections in November 2024, Bitcoin was traded at around $70,000, marking an increase of approximately 55 percent since then.

Following Donald Trump's election victory, the market expects positive changes for cryptocurrencies, as he promised that the US would become the "crypto capital" of the planet.

According to data from Coinmarketcap, Bitcoin's current market capitalization stands at $2.14 trillion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $111.5 billion.
